rain & Sunshine by turns. I have don hous work & mended hoes. Sis^t B. here y^s day.

at home. Sist Barton here.

Clear. I have bakt & Brewd, feel much fatagued. Son Jona was put in iaill for debt, an unfortunate thing for him at this time as the freshet is risin and his Lumber up river in A precarious Situation. may all things work together for his good here, or here after, is the wish of me, his affectionate mother.

at home. [seins] of troubles took place.

Clear part of y^e day. Sis^t Barton, Dagt Ballard, Elisa, mrs Smith & Charlotte took Tea here. Luke Barton Calld in at Evng.

at home, friends here.

Clear fine day. Sister Barton left here at 10^h am to go to the Settlement. I have done hous wk, Churnd 1 lb Butter, houghd in y^e gardin, Cut Grass with a knife between y^e hous & pigg pen & mended a Shirt for my husband.

at home. Sist B. was at [Partridg ].

Clear & warm. I have done hous work & Some in the gardin. I went to Jonas to inform their OXen were in y^e wheat.

at Son Jonas.

Clear & very hott. Hannah & Elisa Ballard & Hitty Peirce Dind here. mr Ballard to y^e Settlement, bot 2 qts Spirit. Son Jonas Cows took down & Sold but Sen^t home.

at home.

Clear & very warm. I have done A Considarable larg washing. mr Ballard houghd his potatoes North ye house.

at home. independance.

Clear & very warm. Dagt Ballard, her Dagts, Hannah, Elisa & Betsy Wiman here to Tea.

at home, Company here.

Clear & very warm. I have Brewd & made a Chees. Hannah & Hitty Calld in, they have been gathering rasburies.

at home.

Clear and not So warm. I went to Son Jonas. Luke Barton & Theodore Ballard here. Dagt B. & Elisa Came home with me. Wm brot our milk and Sleeps here.

at Son Jonas. Son [ ] Cald in there.
