Clear. I was at mr Hinkleys till near night when I returnd home, left his wife more Comfortable. we receivd a letter of Apr^l 1^st from Bro^r Jon^a Moore informing his famely were in health. a mrs Brown of Sandy river here.

at mr Hinkleys. receivd a letter from Bro^r Jon^a of 1^st ins^t.

Clear. mr Ballard went to meeting at the hook. mr Child Sent for me to See his wife who is Confind to her Bed. Shee has various Complaints. my Dagt Dolly is not So well as we Could wish. Jon^a here, his infant is not very well.

a^t mr Child^s. Ephm put Eggs under two Turkeys.

X. Birth Thoms Hinklys Son, the 9^th by XX two wives. XX.

Clear, a Coal morn, fine Day. I was Calld between twelve & one y^s morn to See mrs Hinkley who was in Labour & was Deld of a fine Son at 11^h. I left her & infant Cleverly & returnd home, find mr Ballard Sett out on a tour of Surveying y^s morn. my girls have washt & are Scouring house &C.

a^t mr Hinkley^s. Birth 22^nt, Sixteen of which were Sons. recd 6/.

Clear & warm. I have been at home Clearing y^e Door yard of Chips. Cyrus & Ephm ploughing y^e Entervl. mrs Barton went to Jon^a^s. Dolly got her Bro^rs web out. I am inf^md that mrs m^c Causland is thought to be near y^e Close of life.

X. Birth mr Capins Dagt. XX. 478^th Extraction Since I Came to Hollowell.

Clear & warm. I was Calld at 1^h morn to See mrs Capen who was in Labour. Shee was Delivd of a fine Dagt at 2. I tarried there till after Dining, went to mr Brookses, mrs Cony & Dagts Came there. I Came to mr Capins again, rec^d 6/. Cyrus Came to mr Pages Landing & Conducted me over y^e river. Ephm heard y^t our Hon^d Mother Ballard is Deceas^t.

a^t mr Capans. Birth 23^d. we had News of ye Death of mot^r Ballard.
