A heavy rain. the river opend and the Bridge over this Crick went away. the underpining of ye North Side our house fell in, but we are yet alive & well for which we ought to be thank full. part of ye Dam gone also. A heavy rain, the river opend. I have been at home.

Snowd ys morn; a very raw, Cold day. mr Smiley Came here to work. mrs Williams & Danl Robbins went from here. I paid her 1/6. at home.

I went to hamlins, his infant Sick; from there to Esqr Huseys. at Esqr Huseys.

at Ditois. mrs Cox there. a rain. Son Town here, all well at home.

at Ditoes. Capt Norcross Came home. I was Calld from there by mr True at half aft 6, from Trues to Philip Norcroses at 11, Back again at 3. mrs [sic] at Husays & Trues & Norcrosses.

mrs True Delivd at 9th h morn of a [     ]. I went Back to Norcross, his wife Delivrd of a Dagt at 11 morn. from thence to Capt Porters to Caty Scott at 12th h. i was there all night. at Trues, Norcross & Capt Porters.

at Capt Porters. Caty Delivrd of a fine Son at 9th h m. Shee Declard that Jeremiah Workfield was the father of the Same. I came home at 2 pm then went to Esqr Husseys attended by Capt porter. at Capt Porters. receivd my fee in Cash Sept 4th.
