Clear and very Cold. I was at mr Burtuns, his only Dagt Expired at 11h 30m morn, her death ocationed by her being burnt.a distresed famely they are, the mother expecting Soon to be Sick. I tarried this night, mrss Burtun is allmost over whelmed with Sorrow. God grant her his gracious aid in this visitalion. at mr Burtuns his Dear Daughter Expired. mrs Cocks & Duttun assisted to lay it out.

Clear and very Cold. I Spent this Day with the afflicted family of mr Burtun, their Child interd after the public Service was Ended. I returnd home much fatagued. Son and Dagt Lambert Came here on their return from his Fathers and tarrie all night. at mr Burtuns, his Child interd at Evn.mrs Peirce Expired last Evng.

Clear and Cold. I was Calld to See the wife of Isaac Hardin at 12h pm, tarried there all night. mrss Cumings and Briggs there. my Patient did not Seem very Sick. at Isaac Hardins.

Clear. I Came from mr Hardins after breakfast. left his wife [about] house. I wrode in a Sled with mr Briggs to the Court house. went to See mrss Burtun, find her as well as Could be Expected. I Came home at 1h pm, do feel very much fatagud. Patty Town tarries here this night. at Hardins & mr Burtuns.

Clear and not So Cold. Old mr Luke Lambart Calld here to See us. Patty Town went from here to Son Lambarts. Phillip Bullin planing here. I have been at home, did my hous work and Cleand my rooms. at home.
