Clear. mr Ballard to Meeting. I have felt feeble. Son Jona, his wife and part of their Childn here. Text aftern Luke XIX C 41 vers. at home. Text fornn Luke 16 C 3 last verss

Clear and warm. I have Bakt but feel very feeble. we were [alone this night]. at home.

Clear and warm. mr Ballard is houghing potatoes. I have done wk in the hous & Gardin. at 2h pm the News of ye death of Genl Sewals Lady reacht us. may we all be allso ready. at home. Death mrss Sewall.

Clear part of the day. I have planted Beens, Corn of ye purple kind & potatoes of Lukes kind in my gardin foren. my husband and I attend at the Meeting hous at 4h pm where ye remains of Genl Henry Sewal [wive] were lodgd till Revd mr Gillit [Delivd] a discoarse fm Hebs 12 Chap 11 vers. mr Cogswel made the Closeing prayer and the Funeral proceeded to the grave, and we returnd home at Sun Sett. at mr Thwings and at the Funeral of mrss Sewal. Calld at Son Jonas.

Cloudy and raind at Evng. I have done part of my washing and Sett Squash ptants. Son Jonas wife here to Tea, informd that Capt Dany of Hallowell Hanged him Self this Morn. he Cutt his throat last weak. at home. Capt Dany hanged himSelf ys morn.
