raind all day. I have been Sorting raggs and Piecing Some for to wash dishes with. Hannah & Martha Ballard here. mr Ballard been to mr Evliths, got 1 qt Ginn, _ lb Souchon Tea & 2 lb Sugar by an order from a mr Robbards of [Varsalboro]. at [home].

rainy. Cleard of before 10h Evng. I have been Sorting raggs. Son Jona and wife, Sally & James here to Tea. Son Cyrus Came at Evng. Son Ephm & mr [Rines] to Varsalborough for Bords. at home. Jona & wife [here], Shee brot me Some[C ].

Cloudy and Some rain. I have washt and done other matters. mr Ballard has Planted 8 kinds of Beens at ye South End of ye Corn field. at home, did my washing.

raind foren. mr Ballard and Son Cyrus & Son Lambd went to meeting. Revd mr Stone discoarst foren fm Psalm CXLVIIth 18th vers, aftern fm James Chap 1st 22 vers. Son & daugt Lambd to Son Jonas. he invited me but I did not go. at home.

Clear part of the day. I have planted Cucumbers & Poland Beens and Some Squash Seeds. mr Ballard planted [Banibas] beens. mr Lambard Corn, Beens & potatoes. Cyrus [Shea ] Sheep. Ephm took Tea with us. at home. Son Ephm Planting Corn on ye Farewel farm.

Clear the most of ye day, raind at Evng. I have Planted Squash of Several kinds & Cucumbers Some North of ye hous & Some in the [field.] dagt Ballard [and] mrs Gill, [   ] Town and Ephm to Tea here. [    ] Ballard & Cyrus to Coart. at home. the troops on Gard ys night [   ] ye Indiens So Calld.
