Clear and very pleast indead. mr Ballard went to Capt Cockss to have a Glass put in his Cumpass. he allso Sett out to Survey the Town of Varsalborough this aftern, Expects to be gone the remainder of thee weak. Dolly is gone to Son Jonas. I have finisht kniting a pair of mitts, the fifth pair Since this year Comminst. at home.

Clear. I have been at home. my Girls took a Sleigh ride. I began to foot a pair hoes for Cyrus. at home.

X. Birth mr Sheppards Dagt. XX.
Clear. I was Calld to See mrss Sheppard at 4h morn. Shee was Deld of a Dagt, her 4th Child, at about 12 hours or mid day. I was Calld from there to Son Jon as wife who is unwell. at mr Sheppards & Son Jonas. Birth5th. receivd 24/.

Clear. at my Sons. Son & Dagt Town Calld there on yr way home. at Ditoes. finisht Cyruss hoes futing.

Cloudy, Snowd Some. Dagt Ballard was Delivd of a Dagt at 3h pm. mrs Woodwd & I tarried all night. I went to Bed & Slept Some. at Jonas. Birth 6th.

Birth Black Hitties Son.
Snowd. I was Calld from Jonas to See Black Hitty. Shee was Deld of a Son before I arivd, found her Exercisd with pain, administred Something for her relief. returnd home by way of mr Husseys, all as well there as usual. I went to See my Dagt Ballard after I Came home, find her & infant Cleverly. Dolly is gone to work at Old mr Pollards. Sally Cocks gave me a Snuff Box. at my Sons and Nicholass. Birth 7th. this man is a Portugues who was Brot here by mrss Hussey from Nantucket.
