Martha Ballard's Diary, March 7 - 12, 1792

Clear. Sally, Hannah and my Self went to mr Livermores, his little Dagts here to visit Polly Town. mr Ballard is much more Comfortable than he has been. at mr Livermores.

Cloudy Some Snow. mr Ballard went to mr Childs to git a pair Shoes made for Hannah. Ephm has been to mr Shepherds, bot a Chip & 2lb. Sugar. Cost 3/, to mr Dumers bot 1/2 yd. Sarsnet 1/3. mr Georg Brown brot us 4 Bushl of Wheat from 7 mile brook. I have been at home. Jona has not been well ys Day. at home.

Snowd a little foren, Clear aftn. Sally & Hannah Spent ye aftn and Evng at mr Densmores. Jona went to haull Shingles. went for the Girls at Evn. mrs Densmore is unwell. I have been at home. mr Livermore returnd home from the westwd at 10h. Evng. at home. my Dagts went to mr Densmores. mr Livermre returnd from the westwd.

Snowd. I went to See mrs Densmore, Shee is very unwell, I gave her Camphir and aplid hott Bricks to her feet, which brot perspiration & Shee Seemd a little relievd. Dolly wrode home in ye Sleigh with me. Hannah Bakt Pies. mr Georg Brown here, has a Sore finger. mr Livermore here. at mr Densmores.

rain foren. Cyrus Came home after Dinner, he waited on me to mr Densmores. I find her a little more Comfortable. Jona & Dolly had Each of them a Sheep Lambd, both had twins. at mr Densmores.

Cloudy. Jonns lambs were brot into ye hous, are feeble but revivd. mrs Livermore & I went to See old Lady Coney, Shee has had an ill turn, but is a little better. at Deaon Coneys.
