a rainy Day. I have been at home; feel much more Comfortable yn I have Done of late. Jon a returnd from winslow. informs Son Town is removd to mr Springs farm & mrs Barton livs with him. they are well & that Sherebiah is much as he has been lately & yt Nathan Haywood is Sick of a fiavour. Benn Porter here ys Day; his famely well. at home.

rainy. I was Calld to see mrs Cragg who is Exceeding ill. Shee has taken 2 potions of rhubarb & thee bark allso Since friday noon. the phisic opperated till Shee Expird. I tarried & walcht. Sett up alone. Shee began to Puke at 4 h morn. at mr Craggs.

rainy. I took a little nap ys morn. Doct Coney was Calld; plainly told the famely mrs Cragg must Die. Shee acordingly did Expire at 10 h Evn with out the lest Struggle. mrs Pollard & my Self & mrs Voce put on her Grave Cloaths. mr Pollard & his Lady tarried all night. mrs Voce & my Self allso. at Ditoes, his wife Expird. Sally While Came to giv the infant Suck.

Clear & pleasant. I tarried at mr Craggs & asisted what I was able. my Dagt Dolly washt there, Judy Huston allso. mr Black & mr Bent Sett there this night. the Corps were Coffind & Sett in the west room. purge & Smell very ofensive. at Dittoes. tarried all night.
