and the Officer may terminate, it is pretty clear it cannot materially affect the original process.---Colo. North has not been seen here since the evening the attempt was made to apprehend him. It is said, he is gone to Boston upon business.

I have taken the liberty to trouble you with the enclosed to Mr. Loudon, our friend--which I request you will have the goodness to deliver.
