Cloudy and Some rain. mr Ballard to meeting. mr Stones Text forn Prov 28 C vers 13th. Revd mr Moody perform aftern, Text 1 Timo 1 C 11 vers. Son Jona and wife to Sup with us. at home, very lame. Son Jona & wife here. receivd [9s/] at mr [Nasons] [Auget 25 [h].

Clear part of the day. mr Ballard went to James Boltons, brot A Cow & Calf home. Wm Ballard helpt him. we had a fine Shower [afterorn]. I dug ground South of the hous to Sett Turnip plants. mr Ballard went to Doct Conys, Setled with him. Ballance in our favour 20 Cents for which he had 1 oz Bitters. ye Doct made a present of 1 oz Camphir. at home, workt Some in my gardin. Doct Cony gave me 1 oz Camphir.

X. Birth Anty Brackets 8th Child 6th Son. XXX.
Clear forenn. I was Calld by mr Anty Bracket his wife being in Labour at 0h 30m. Shee was Safe Deld at 7h 30m Evng of her 6th Son & 8th Child. I Came home, arivd at 12 O Clock [&] 30m. it raind aftern. at Anty Brackets. Birth 6th. receivd 9s by an order.

Clear. I have transplanted Squash & Mellons South of ye hous, done hous wk and Some washing. Allin Lambd workt here puting Plaster to ye Corn. he & Wm B Sleep, he & Lefaett last night. at home, Sett mellons South hous.

raind after 11h am. I have Sett Squash, Cucumbers, Leutice; houghd Some. mr Ballard [w ] mr Heartwels Store, got [Salmon] with [thi ] Doct Cony gave an order for. at home. Sett plants, had 2_ lb Salmon.
