rainy all day Except a few minits about 10h morn when the Sun Shone Clear a few [minitus]. we Experienced a very heavy Clap of thunder, it Broak near mr Wimans. mr Ballards hors was in ye lane, I thought Shee was Struck but Shee was [not]. at home.

rainy part of ye day, the Lightning Struck a tree a little below mr Wimans. at home.

Clear. mr Ballard & Cyrus to meeting. my husband went to the funeral of mr James Springers wife aftern. Son Lambard Came and Conducted mrs Evins here. at home. funeral James Springers wife.

X. Birth Reubin Branads [9th] Child & 3d Dagt. XX.
Clear. I was Calld at 2hm to go and See ye wife of Rheubin Branad. Shee was Safe Deld at [6] of her 3d daught & 9th Child. I left her as wel as Could be Expected and reacht home before noon. mr Ballard is gone to Varsalboro to do Surveying. I Calld at Son Jonas, his wife is [sic]. at mr Branards. Birth 6th. receivd 9s as a reward.

Clear. Polly washt my hous and Scourd. I did my hous work. mr Ballard returnd from [Varsalboro]. at home.

Clear part of the day. Allin Came and Conducted mrs Evins & Barny home. mr Ballard Surveying for Stepn Page. at home, ironed my Cloaths.

Clear. I did my hous work & went to See Le faett Ballard who is unwell. at Son Jonas.

Clear and pleast. mr Ballard & Cyrus to ye review. I went aftern to help mrs Gillbard quill. harvisted Some beens. at mr Gillbards
