raind till near noon. mr Ballard went to ye Settlement. James Purington & Jona Ballard Junr here. I have done my hous work and Some matters in ye Gardin. at home.

Clear Except a Shower. I have been at home, done my hous work, ironed my Cloaths &C. mr Ballard went to be Shaved. at home.

Clear Part of ye Day. mr Ballard & Cyrus to meeting. Revd mr Parker Discoarst foren from mark VI C 12 vers. a Gentleman whose name I do not know performed aftern fm 1st Corintns part of ye [ th] Carity Sufereth long & pt of ye 8th, Charity never faileth. at home. we had Cucumbers & Green Corn.

Clear, a Cool morn, warmer aftern. I have been at home, workt Some in my Gardin and did my hous work. do not feel So wel as I Could wish. mrs Heartwel here. at home.

Clear. I am informd that Son Lambard removes his Famely to Augusta this day to ye place he went from to Varsalboro. Jona & Wilm Ballard & Luke Barton took Breakfast here. I have workt Some in [gad]. at home.

Cloudy foren. mr Ballard went to Son Lambds, Carried Some Currents & Squash. I have harvested String Peas and done various kinds of work. mr Ballard Says Soffia Came [yester] day. at home. [      ].
