X. Birth Mr Rices Dagt and 5th Child. XX.
Clear and not very Cold. I Sett out to go to meeting, went to the road where mr Timy Foster met me and took me in to his Sleigh and Conductd me to mr Rices at Winthrop. his wife was Deld of a Dagt at 1h 30m pm and I returnd home at Evn, Conducted by mr Moses Wood. am informd that mrs Dickman Expird last Evn at 7h. at mr Rices at Winthrp. Birth 8th. receivd 9/ for my Service.

Clear and pleast. Cyrus went to pittstn to mill, and waitd on me to See Dagt Lambart. Nabby washt and I Did the house work. I find my Dagt better. at Son Lambarts at Evn.

Clear and pleast. Mr Ballard, my Self and Cyrus attended funeral of the wife of mr Dickman. the Corps were brot in to the hous of worship where the Revd mr Stone Delivered a Discorse Sutable to the ocation, and afterwards made a prayer well adapted. the remains were Conducted to the Burying Ground of mr Mc Master and intered. mr Dickman, Bell, Polly mc Master and her Parents followed as Moarners. the Pall Bearers were Wm Pitt, J. Black, Capt Smith, Peter Jones, J. Child and mr Parker. after they proseeded to the grave, I retird to my Son Lamberts, there Spent the Evng. my Dagt has been not So well ys Day as Shee was yesterday. I attended at the house of worship an prayers at the interment of the remains of mrss Dickman. we Met at 12 O Clock. Dagt Pollard Spent Evn at mr Lambarts.

Cloudy part ye Day, Snowd at Evn. Nabby went to the hook and bot her a pair Shoes. I have Doubled hoes yn and Sewed on a Shift. at home.

raind the most of the day. I finisht makeing a flanel Shift for my Self, mended mitts for mr Ballard and Cyrus, and knitt Some. Nabby Twisted 5 Skeins hoes yarn & 1 of Thread. mr Ballard fixing a pen for Sheep, one has brot a Lamb ys Day, & one ye 9th inst. at home.

Cloudy foren, Clear aftern. I have been at home. mr Ballard & Nabby went to the hook to hear mr Wagar, a Methodist Teacher who preacht at mr Besseys. at home.
