XX. Birth Ezra Smiths Dagt. XX.
Cloudy part of ye Day. I was Calld at 7h morn by mr Ezra Smith to See his wife who was Deld at 9h 30m of a fine Dagt. I tarried with her the Day and night. Shee is as well as Could be Expected. Shee has got ye rash. at mr Ezra Smiths. Birth 27th. CaptDancy Left ye fort.

Clear, wind to ye Northerd. mr Kilridg Conducted his wife to Capt Deans Vessel at ye hook Bound to the South Shore. I Came from mr Smiths after assisting to git his wife up and to Bed again. Calld at mr Gills. Saw Son Town, his famely are well as usual. I was at Esq Haywoods and Son Pollards. my Dagt was here helping Dolly about her Bed quillt. at mr Smiths. receivd 7/6 as a reward. Polly [sic].

Clear. I was at home, workt Some in my Gardin &C. mr Ballard returnd from Coart. Ephm has been to Winthrop for one Dozn Chairs for Dolly. at home.

Clear. I have been tending Cloath yt ws whitining and quilling yn for Dolly to weav, & working in my Gardin & kniting. Capt Ney Sheard our Sheep. mr Ballard Bot Cloath for a Coat for him Self. at home.

Clear. mr Ballard, Cyrus & Ephm attended meeting at ye hook. Sally went to her Dads & Polly Easty to Son Pollards, finds Dagt Ballard unwell. Expects Shee has got the rash. Augustus Ballard & mr Hodgden Supt here. at home.
