X. Birth Nabby Towers Son by Moses Parmer. XX.
Clear, Serene Day. I was Calld to 4h morn to See Nabby Towers who was in Labour. Shee was Deld at 11h 30m of a Son which Shee DeClard that Moses Parmer was the father of. I tarried & Dind. Esqr Haywood there. I arivd at home at 3h pm, am fatagud. Dolly is unwell, has a Blister which lames her very much. at mr Lathrop. Birth 40th. receivd my fee Oct. 2nd by mr Daw at the hook.

X. Birth Wilm Whites. 4th Son. XX.
Clear & very pleast. I was Calld belween 12 & 1h to See William Whites wife who was in Labour. I Crost ye river & went Down on hors back. my Patient not very ill. I laid down & took a fine nap. Shee Calld on me about Day Break & was Safe Delivd at 6h 20m of a fine Son which waid 11 lb. I left her & infant Cleverly & arivd at home at noon. Sally Cocks & Patty Levermore ferried me over. mrs Blanchard, Brown, Winstow, Page & Adkins attended. mr Ballard & Sons & mr Perhan are gone to meeting. at Wilm Whites. Birth 41st. I receivd 6/as a reward.

Clear. I have been at home, Dolly to Son Pollards. Son Town here, his famely well. at home.

Clear & pleast. I was at mr Craigs, Burtuns & Thwings, all well. I bot 1/2 lb Snuff 1/2. Sally & Dolly quillting for Sally Williams aftern. at mr Craigs & others.

Clear. Selva moore here. I have wrote to Doct Barton, Bror Collens and Sister Walers, & went to See mrs Parker who is very unwell. Dolly gone to mr [Smiths]. at mr Parkers. wrote my friends at Oxford. Silva moore Sleeps [here].
