Clear. I was at mr Hinkleys till near night when I returnd home, left his wife more Comfortable. we receivd a letter of Aprl 1st from Bror Jona Moore informing his famely were in health. a mrs Brown of Sandy river here. at mr Hinkleys. receivd a letter from Bror Jona of 1st inst

Clear. mr Ballard went to meeting at the hook. mr Child Sent for me to See his wife who is Confind to her Bed. Shee has various Complaints. my Dagt Dolly is not So well as we Could wish. Jona here, his infant is not very well. at mr Childs. Ephm put Eggs under two Turkeys.

Clear, a Coal morn, fine Day. I was Calld between twelve & one ys morn to See mrs Hinkley who was in Labour & was Deld of a fine Son at 11h. I left her & infant Cleverly & returnd home, find mr Ballard Sett out on a tour of Surveying ys morn. my girls have washt & are Scouring house &C. at mr Hinkleys. Birth 22nt, Sixteen of which were Sons. recd 6/.

Clear & warm. I have been at home Clearing ye Door yard of Chips. Cyrus & Ephm ploughing ye Entervl. mrs Barton went to Jonas. Dolly got her Brors web out. I am infmd that mrs mc Causland is thought to be near ye Close of life. at home.

X. Birth mr Capins Dagt. XX. 478th Extraction Since I Came to Hollowell.
Clear & warm. I was Calld at 1h morn to See mrs Capen who was in Labour. Shee was Delivd of a fine Dagt at 2. I tarried there till after Dining, went to mr Brookses, mrs Cony & Dagts Came there. I Came to mr Capins again, recd 6/. Cyrus Came to mr Pages Landing & Conducted me over ye river. Ephm heard yt our Hond Mother Ballard is Deceast. at mr Capans. Birth 23d. we had News of ye Death of motr Ballard.
