Clear & Cool. I have been at home, not able to Sett up ye most off the Day by reason of my fatagues. mrs Bradbury here to have a hatt made by my Dagt Hannah. at home.

Cloudy part off ye Day. Hannah washt. I went to mr Livermrs, his Lady & I went & Spent aftern at mr Densmores, mrs Edson there. Dolly Came home, tarries ys night. mr Ballard been to ye hook, Bot 2/1 Galn N E Rhum & 1 galn molases. Dolly went to mr Wessons, Bot her Self a pair Shoes. I gave her the money. at mr Densmores. S.J. Foster & Saml Jackson paid me for asisting their wives.

Clear. I have been at home mending & kniting. my Dagt Hannah maid my Bunnit over anew & finisht mrs Bradburys; Shee Came for it, Betsy Champny here allso. mr Ballard houghing Beans on ye Entervail. at home. Nathaniel Voce was Drowned at ye hook.

I houghd my Cabbages & went to the hook. was informd yt Nathanl Voce was Drowned yesterdy & is to be interd ys aftn. find on my return home thal mr Ballard is gone to Sett on ye Jury of inquest on ye Boddy. I purchast at the Stores of thread what Cost 1/6, tape & Bobn 1/6, Silk Sewng /6, Sugr 2/, Shalloon 2/6, fan 1/6, Snuff 1/, 7yds Callico @ 2/10; 19/10; 6lb Buttr @ /7; 3/7. mr Voce interd ys aftern. I was at the hook as far as mr Shepherd. funeral of mr Voce, attended at 4h pm.
