X. Birth mr Wessons Son. XX.
Clear & Cool. I was Calld at 3 h morn to See mrs Wesson, Shee was Safe Deld at 4h. 30m. of a fine Son. mrs Pollard, Duttun & Hamlin assisted. Shee and Child are Cleverly. I recievd 12/ as reward. mr Ballard Sett out for to Explore the Country Back of fort Hallifax, inployd by this Common wealth. I tarried at mr Westons, mrs Fillebn & Sally Floid allso. at mr Wessons. Birth 30th. at [mr Wesss]. a rainy night.

rainy. I tarried till 3 h pm at mr Wessons & then returnd home, find my Famely well. Cyrus been at home ys Day. I have spent but one whole Day at home Since Octr 23rd. the remains of mrs Goodin were interd this Day. at Ditos. Funeral of mrs Goodins.

rain forn, Sun Shone aftn. I went to mr Densmores, Saw James Stackpool; he informd me there was a letter at mr Goodins for me. at mr Densmors

Clear part of ye Day. mrs Densmore Sent for me to See her Infant, it has a Cough & Soar mouth. her Childn have ye Cough. I Calld to See mr Livermr, he is better. I receivd a line from Dagt Town of 8th which informs She & famely are well. at Ditoes & mrs Livermors. I receivd a Letter from Dagt Town.

Clear, Serene morn, Cloudy aftn, Snowd at Evn. Cyrus here ys Day, he Seemd fatagud by loss of Sleep as he tended mill all last night. Esq Coney here, informs me his Childn have the hooping Cough. mrs Densmr Sent for me to See her inft, I went. at mr Densmors

Cloudy & moderate. mr Dany Calld me Early this morn to See his youngest Child who is Burnt on his face. I went & made an ointment & Dresst it. I went to See mrs Selvester, find her Cleverly. I Calld at [mr] Parmers, Bot a pail, paid 1/6 off John Badcok, Thos Hinkley & Benn White. I receivd of each 6/ as a reward for assisting their wives in Child [Birth]. I was at mr Densmores, his Childn unwell. at mr Danys & other Neigrs. I Spent Evng at mr Densmors.
