Clear. mr Ballard went to Pitts Town. I have been at home. we killd a Veal which wd 84lb. mrs Bolton here. mrs Barton is makeing her Self a gown. at home.

Clear. we Dind on a Line of veal. mr Burtun & Lady, mrs Hamlin, Son & Dagt Town & mrs Barton Dind with us, mr Kingsbury allso. at home.

Clear. I rose before Sun rise. mr Town & mrs Barton went to Pitts Town. we receivd a Letter from Brothr Barton of ye 13th inst which informs that his famely are well; that my Dear Sist Debby Davis Departed this life ye 8 inst & was interd ye 10th. Shee has left a Husband & Seven Children to moarn ye loss. my Hond marm Ballard & Polly Kingsbury were then living. at home. receivd a letter from Doct Barton of 13 inst.

Clear. mr Town & mrs Barton returnd. they, with my Dagts, Parthena, and mr Kingsbury went to mr Burtuns. I helpt Clean away ye Doer Durt. Ephm Sett Cabbage plants. at home.

A vere fine rain. I helpt transplant Beets & Cucumbers. mr Town & mrs Barton went to Judg Bomans office. Shee took administration on her Late husbands Estate. mr Edson was Drowned 21 inst & taken up ys morn. at home. Funeral of Calvin Edson who was Drowned the 21st inst.
