Cloudy. James Weston Expired at 3h morn. I laid him out ascisted by mrs Lois Harris & Polly Hinkly. mrs North Came in to See them. I returnd home at 10h morn; feel much fatagud, took a knap of Sleep, feel better. mrs Welch here. mr Ballard laying out roade by ye river below mr Pollards to Pitts Town. James Weston Expird at 3h morn Æ 4 years, 1 month & 11 Days. I Calld at mr Williamss

rainy. mr Ballard Surveying thee road from Pitts town to fort Westorns, East Side ye river. Son Town Came here. I attended the funeral of James Weston. Calld to See Nr Williams, he is growing weaker; his feet Swell and a purging takes place again. Funeral of James Weston. I attended it. was atWlmss

Cloudy morn. I was Calld to Danl Savage Junrs wife who is in travil at 10h morn. Shee was Safe Deld of a Son at 9h Evn. I Left her Cleverly. arivd at home at 11h 45m. mr Ballard gone to Varsalboro. Clarisa Barton been here and mrss LoiS Hinkly, Polly White from Falmoth & Susana Cleark. I was at Daniel Savages.
