Rainy. I was Calld to Jos Fosters to See Lidia, Sick with the rash. Came back to mr Pollards, went from thence to fort western; attended funeral of Pegy Cool. from that to Georg Browns. Saw his wives hand Drest. returnd home at Ten in Eving. Exceedingly fatagud. J.B. here. mrs Sherman Brot to mr Pollards by Harford of winslow. mrs Frich here ys night.

Cloudy. had news yt Lidia Foster was very Sick. had mr Pollards hors, went there, tarried the most of ye day. Came to mr Pollards from thence to Revd mr Foster to See him; find him very Sick with the rash. Came to mr Brookss, got Some Cold water root. Cyrus went and Carid it to mr Foster. we Sheld Pees. mr Ballard gn to asist Broth Moore rais a Barn.

Clear & pleast morn, Cloudy aftern. Cyrus went to See Lidia Foster, finds her Exceeding ill. I went to See her & Revd mr Foster who is very ill. mr Emerson Performd thee Publick Servis in his Stead. mr Ballard returnd from my Brothers. Brot a hors which he had of Jethro Gardner. I watcht.

Clear & pleast. Hannah Came to mrs [Fosters]. I returnd, Calld to See mr Foster; find him mending. Left Lidia better also. Dolly is unwell. Coln North is returnd. Doct Colman Enforms yt Betsy Stackpool was Drouned 28 inst in ye river Sebastacuk. May God Sanctify ye instance to us all. I am informd yt mr Mc Masters Son Daniel is very Sick with the rash. mr Williams has Bled again & is very poorly. mr Ballard & Dolly unwell. I Batht their feet & gave them Some herb Tea. I feel much fatagud my Self. Ephm Cowen & Ezekl Leighton here ys night.
