mrs Town & I went to mr Stratens. Colol Brewer & Lady at mr Towns Dore. we had a Shower. mr Stratens Boy Sett us over ye river. mr Town is gone to Cobecy.

Clear, pleast morn. Lucy not very well. mr Town Came home; brought news yt mr Ballard was gone to Casco to Cort as an Evidence in behalf of Emmerson. I was at mr Towns all Day, but am anaxious to see home again it being dificlt for me to be gone.

Lords Day & very pleast. at mr Towns yet, Lucy about house yet. mr Stackpole & Lady here, Drank Tea. Sally Dexter also. Nathan Howard paid Betsy a visit this Evening.

A Cloudy morn. I was at Son Towns all Day. Betsy went to mr Dexters & Stratens. Lucy was unwell.

Clear & warm. Lucy some unwell. I am at Towns yet. Mr Lues went Down River. Betsy washd & went to mr Dexters. there was a Shower at Night. I feel not so well as I could wish.

Clear morn. I was at Son Towns all Day. mr Dexter there.

Clear. Lucy, mrs Craggin & I went to Capt Hails. mrs Dexter also.

Clear. I finisht futting a pair of hoes for Lucy & Began a stokin for my Self. Went to mr Dexters with mrs Craggin, mrs Haill there. mr Luis went to watch with mr Thorn who Departed this Life about ye middle of ye night.

I rose this morn before Day, it was Cloudy. Betsy & I Sett Some plants. I finisht ye [stokin]. a thunder Shower afternoone. Betsy [is unwell].

Clear. I attended funeral of old mr Thorn. Capt Fillbrook made a prayer on the ocasion. The Corps were Carried by water to [   ] & there interd. I returnd from grave with Esq. Pettee & mrs Craggin. Leut Browns Lady went to Son Towns. mr Dexter & Capt Hale & Lady there. Betsy went to ye Grave to attend funeral mr Thorn. mrs Collar was Delivd Last night of a dead Child.
