A frosty morn. I finnisht kniting Cyruss Buskins, the Girls washt. I was Calld to Eliab Shaws at half after 5/O Clock PM, his wife in Travil, & Shee was Safely Delivrd between 6 & 7 of a Son, her 4th Child. I Slept at mr Browks.

Friend Gardner Sleeps here. our yong men Brought 57 Loggs to ye Saw mill. mr Ballard fell off ye Raft into ye river. Mr Suell Calld me to see his wife, Shee Being in Travill. mrs Howard, Mc Master, Voce & Bellchir were assistants.

Mr Foster, a yong Gentleman from Stafford, in ye state of Conneticut, performd. Capt Savages wife & mrs Fareley here in Intermision. receivd my fee July ye 1st of mrs Sewell.

Danl went to the hook, Brot home 6 galns of Rhum, 2 lb coffee, 5 lb Sugar & Some Tobacco & 1-1/4 Bushl of Salt from Jos Williams for me, for assisting his wife in travil with her Last Child.
